Product Reviews

Name: Review:
I purchased this TV as a used item at an affordable price, which was a major factor in my decision-making process. With that said, I did experience some minor lag when moving between apps in the home screen, and small issues with sound quality, particularly with pausing audio on my Echo Studios settings. While these problems were intermittent, they did cause me to consider purchasing this TV again.

I did have a slight issue with software updates causing my TV's performance to degrade, which I found surprising given the many positive reviews I'd seen online. As a result, I decided to perform a factory restore, and it did make a significant difference in how the TV operated overall. The software update for this TV seems to resolve issues that were previously plaguing me.

In terms of its design, I was pleased with the fact that the Fire TV is built-in - it's a huge plus for those who prefer minimalism and simplicity. Additionally, having only one remote control was another advantage I appreciated, as it simplified my setup process.

When testing the TV's performance, I found that plugging in an Ethernet cable actually caused issues with wireless connectivity, while a test of wireless speeds showed me that the TV can handle speeds significantly higher than what I'd expect. It seems like the TV's Ethernet connection is not capable of handling high-speed internet connections, which may be due to its internal technology or a limitation.

As someone who values minimalism in their home setup, I found it satisfying to have fewer wires and cables cluttering up my space. However, I also noted that some users with higher-end routers may find this TV's performance limitations to be frustrating.

In terms of picture quality, I was pleased to discover that the 4K inputs on this TV are sufficient for streaming services like Netflix without any issues. While I don't have a 5G connection at my home, the picture quality is generally excellent, and I found that it was capable of producing a good viewing experience with various content.

Overall, while there were some minor issues with software updates and wireless connectivity, I found that this TV offered great value for money and exceptional picture quality.

I've had this TV for about a month now, and I've been using it mostly for viewing internet services, which was my primary concern at the time of purchase. I'm familiar with the fire tv experience having previously used fire tv sticks on different sizes - including 40-inch Panasonic Viera and 24-inch Sony Bravia models. The interface is user-friendly and easy to navigate, allowing me to quickly find content like Prime TV and Disney channels via the app. The picture quality has been fantastic, with Dolby Vision included, which was a significant selling point for me when considering this TV model.

The sound from the internal speakers is also on par with my previous Panasonic TV, although I've found that using a separate Pioneer AV receiver through HDMI ARC helps to enhance the audio experience. Setting up the remote control has been relatively straightforward, with no issues related to synchronizing picture and sound across different equipment. The only minor drawback I've encountered is that accessing the terrestrial TV guide can be a bit slow - it takes some time for the TV to load channels, but once you're using the app, it speeds up significantly.

Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this TV for its internet services and fire tv experience, even though I was initially disappointed by the price. This product has exceeded my expectations in every way, making it a great value at the current sale price from the vendor.

I spent an eye-watering £380 on this massive screen, hoping it would make my living room feel like a luxury cinema. In all seriousness, I'm thoroughly pleased with the picture quality - it's certainly not one of the top-end TVs, but it's still impressive and gets the job done. The price paid for this beast is truly exceptional value given what you get, so that's definitely worth mentioning.

The sound system has been a highlight, with plenty of bass to give me goosebumps when watching my favorite movies. However, I do have a feeling that the speakers are located elsewhere in the room - it sounds like they're coming from behind the screen instead of in front! Despite this quirkiness, it's perfectly usable and most people would probably find it acceptable.

The Freeview implementation is mixed at best. It looks great with all the tiles on the home screen showing what's on each channel, but the guide can take a while to populate and the selection process takes a bit of time. This isn't a problem for me since I'm used to using apps, but it may be a issue for some users who rely on Freeview more than others.

One other thing that's been getting under my skin is Alexa integration - it's seamless and works flawlessly when you're streaming through the app. I've found myself asking Alexa questions nonstop after setting up the device! When someone presses the ring doorbell, I get a clear view of the camera in the top right corner, which I'm sure some people will appreciate.

As for my overall score - while it's definitely worth the £380 price tag, I'd say it's more like 4.5 stars rather than the 4 that I initially intended to give. That being said, I think it's an exceptional product that delivers on many fronts and is well worth considering if you're looking for a big-screen TV at a premium price.
