I have two birds, one is sociable and has made my life richer for having them as companions, while the other... well, let's just say he's taken some getting used to. Both rescues are a huge part of why I've been able to share my home with him, but even so, his initial hesitation around the bath was a bit concerning. However, after watching him initially resist the process, it became clear that he's simply not built for this sort of thing and would rather just get in and out quickly. Despite this, he loves the way he moves through water - it's almost as if he's been swimming his whole life - and sits in it practically all the time, content to stay submerged until he gets bored and looks around. His initial resistance was understandable given that he was being dropped into a tub without any warning or preparation, but now it's just something he does instinctively, like breathing. It's amazing how quickly he's come around to enjoying this newfound hobby, and I must say, the bath itself is actually quite enjoyable - not too hard on my backside either.

I had envisioned this bird bath as a charming addition to my home, with its soothing waters and natural surroundings. The fact that I was able to attach it securely to my cage made me particularly pleased with my purchase.

However, I have been thoroughly unimpressed by the behavior of one particular budgie who insists on using this little bird bath. Despite my best efforts, she refuses to even bother with it, opting instead for her own makeshift water source elsewhere in the cage.
