It started off great, working perfectly well when we first received the appliance although the dry settings seemed a bit stubborn and required frequent adjustments. The door hinge began to show signs of strain shortly after and eventually gave way under stress, necessitating replacement.

Incredibly inconvenient was the fact that the dryer would only turn on sporadically at first, with some trial-and-error finding the optimal setting. However, as time went by, the problem persisted and we encountered an unexpected issue - the hinge began to crack and ultimately broke.

This new development took our attention away from the original performance of the machine which was otherwise functioning flawlessly until it suddenly ceased working altogether. Not only did this happen once, but it occurred again just a week later when I went to load another item into the appliance without any obvious warning signs or symptoms. The plug had shorted out and burned through its socket in an unexpected manner, causing no sparks, no smell, and no indication of what might have caused the malfunction except for a sudden power trip.

The situation was further complicated by the fact that I was present to observe it before it experienced a second failure, and even then I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. Given my experience with tumble dryers in general - having had both condenser and vented models without incident prior to this - it's truly unsettling.

In retrospect, I can see how this could have been a one-off freak occurrence rather than a systemic issue. Nonetheless, the outcome left me shaken, and I'll never consider purchasing appliances from this brand again.
