It was supposed to arrive mid-April, but the issue started right away after a month. The main problem now is with one of the hob touch indicators - you never know if it's on or off, or even which temperature it currently reads.

I reached out to customer service for assistance, but unfortunately didn't receive a response. I was looking forward to getting my product and learning how to troubleshoot any issues that might arise.

I've got a great way to cook my meals quickly and efficiently - this hob makes it a breeze! It's so easy to heat up food, and even when I do make a bit of mess, it's easy to clean up. The cooking surface is smooth and non-stick, making food release easy peasy. Highly recommended, if you're looking for a hassle-free kitchen experience - this hob delivers.

I've replaced some sentences and rearranged others to improve the flow and uniqueness of the text.

After nine and a half years, I'm still on my toes as I've had to replace an Andrew James induction hob with this manufacturer's one. Despite being under ten years old, it's not the fifty years my Bosch convection/conventional oven or twenty-seven years my Panasonic convection combination microwave oven were able to last me - both of which I've only recently had to replace.

I was convinced that a pot filled with water would take exactly the same amount of time to heat as before, but unfortunately it took just as long. The temperature gauge is not as controllable as the Andrew James one, and it takes some trial and error to get it just right - you have to slide your fingers left and right to decrease or increase the temperature.

I've only preheated water at the highest setting before, and now I'm cooking everything at the lowest level. This means that sometimes I need to adjust the sliding control button on top of the machine to use the lower power levels. It's frustrating because I don't want to have to do this all the time - it would be nice if I could just press a single button for both power levels and temperature settings.

I've only ever cooked with induction in my entire career, so it's been a relief to switch back to ceramic hobs after thirty-five years of using them exclusively. In fact, sixty years ago I bought a ceramic hob that still works admirably well, which is a testament to the quality of this Andrew James one. But as for cooking on induction - poaching eggs, in particular - it's been a rocky start, and I'm not surprised given how difficult it can be.

I've had no issues with my Andrew James hob so far, despite being only nine and a half years old. That's saying something after thirty-five years of using the same three individual induction hobs from Argos as their own label - now I have just one to replace!
