It prints, scans and copies perfectly ok. Alternatively, the printer can be connected directly to a computer via itsUSB 2.0 port (USB cable not included), which avoids any Wi-Fi issues altogether. This appears to have been a compatibility issue with my particular network setup rather than the printer itself.
