I was at my wit's end with my new kitten, who had somehow managed to turn two older cats into a war zone. The rambunctious little ball of fur would pounce on them at 4am every morning, biting back legs and disturbing their peaceful naps. It was after we'd castrated him that things really started to fall apart.

Every morning he'd wake up super early and start stalking around the house, rustling every item in sight until I or my husband woke up and chucked a slipper at him. We were fed up with being woken up for hours on end and desperate for some peace.

The older cats were getting increasingly anxious whenever they saw our kitten around, while mine little girl cat was getting more and more distressed as he got closer. My sleep-deprived state made it even harder to cope, and my husband refused to rehome him, saying we couldn't bear the thought of living without him.

In desperation, I turned to a product called Feliway - after 24 hours, things had hardly improved at all. But then, two days later, something miraculous happened. The kitten would curl up on me at 7am and my oldest cat curled up on my pillow as if nothing was wrong. Things have been blissfully quiet ever since.
