From a house clearance, I have tested it with a cd and it reads and plays fine. Skips track quickly. Headphone socket has been tested and is working fine. No further tests done. This was really expensive in 2004 at £450! It had rave reviews online. Fascia has a few light marks and the lid is quite marked. No remote Will be well packed
