not sure of the year, but im ASSUMING after 2016 as my other one was IOS 10 and i got that in 2016 (but it is an ipad air so i don't know) just bought it from someone else and needed it for youtube but it can't download youtube and also can't download the safari extensions to post videos via the safari browser it works perfectly fine and in great condition, just can't download apps before IOS 12 selling for 100 as i need the funds to buy an updated version will come with a charger (not a plug)
