This little Minolta MC Rokkor 58mm f1.4 typifies why I love vintage lenses. It has clearly been on many adventures with various signs of use. Mechanically everything is working with smooth focus and snappy aperture. The optics have the odd coating mark if you look very closely but overall excellent with no nasties. Image quality is the star of the show. This MC generation lens was not as sharp as later MD, but the images that come out of it have a special quality. It delivers keeper after keeper. If your budget doesn't stretch to the legendary 58mm f1.2, this will do you and you will not be disappointed.
