MSI RTX 3070 GAMING Z TRIO 8GB (Pink artifacts after thermal replacement)

This is for the MSI RTX 3070 GAMING Z TRIO 8GB (a refresh of the X Trio). I thought they were squishy enough. Pink artifacts developed. Ordered 2.5mm and 2mm and re-replaced the pads but the pink artifacts remained.
