A lovely push-pull zoom, this classic lens is the first iteration of the Nikon AF Nikkor 70-210mm f/4-5.6 – it’s not the D-version (which allows TTL metering for flash). Very good condition. It was designed originally for film cameras so it’s great for full-frame digital use. Nice auto focus and uncomplicated to use, it is well-balanced and feels solid. The lens has a 62mm Jessops skylight filter attached to protect the front element. There's a tiny mark on the rear element (see image) but this has no effect on the final images. This has been sitting around doing nothing since I bought a more recent 80-200, so hopefully it can find a new home. Sadly the box and hood have long disappeared!
