I'd been struggling with this controller, feeling like it was just begging to be pressed too hard, and within an hour of getting it up and running I had launched Netflix, by accident, about 50 times. The netflix button is directly above the up button on the direction control - a clever placement, but also one that makes it easy for me to accidentally press the wrong thing when trying to get my favorite shows up. If you have finger nails longer than 0.5mm, it's very difficult not to push it when pressing up and end up with a handful of popcorn in your hand. I was ready to box it up and send it right back but decided to see if any after market remotes were available. There were several options available, so I decided to spend an extra tenner to get one that actually worked properly.

It arrived the next day and is just the job - the picture quality from this player on my LG C2 OLED is stunning and it blows the Xbox One X out of the water. The interface may be a bit archaic, but it's virtually silent when in use and discs load up quickly, making it perfect for long gaming sessions.

One potential drawback is that the remote control can be a bit finicky - I've had to press a few extra times just to get the disc playback to start properly. Overall though, I'm very pleased with this player and would give it 5 stars if there wasn't one little problem.
