This curler is all but unused as it became clear after one use it was not going to work on my shoulder length hair. It's not the first hair curler or curling system I have tried that has failed. My fine shoulder length hair is, I finally realised, uncurlable, so now I have surrendered to short hair. I cannot say how good this curler is but if you are looking for one you will probably know. If you are then you will be getting a virtually new one at bargain price. I have had it for some time but it has been carefully stored.
